10K is a fitness competition app for iPhone and iPad provided by Jerry Munyoka Nkongolo ("10K", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use 10K.
10K does not require an account or sign-in. We do not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party advertising SDKs. Most information is processed and stored on your device. If you choose to join or create a competition, limited profile and activity-total information is transmitted to Apple CloudKit and shared only with people invited to that competition.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, 10K requests read-only access to:
10K does not write to or modify Apple Health data.
Health information is used to calculate and display your activity totals, charts, goals, streaks, personal records, and achievements. Individual HealthKit samples, workout records, distance details, and heart-rate values remain on your device and are not uploaded by 10K.
If you participate in a competition, 10K transmits daily Step Count totals and daily Active Energy Burned totals to Apple CloudKit so invited participants can view the leaderboard. These daily totals are associated with your competition profile and random participant identifier.
You can decline Apple Health access and still open and explore the app. You can review or revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings.
