Jeune is a personal wellness app provided by Jerry Munyoka Nkongolo ("Jeune",
"we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is
handled when you use the Jeune iOS app.
Jeune is designed to keep your detailed wellness history under your control.
Most information is stored on your device. Optional features may use Apple
iCloud, Apple Health, Google Gemini, RevenueCat, and Apple's App Store services
as described below.
1. Information Jeune Handles
Depending on the features you use, Jeune may handle:
- Profile and personalization information, such as your name, profile photo,
goals, journey, weight, height, preferred units, activity level, fasting
preferences, and onboarding answers.
- Wellness logs, such as fasting windows, meals, ingredients, meal photos,
calories, nutrients, water intake, weight entries, workouts, journal notes,
plans, and progress history.
- Apple Health information that you choose to make available, such as activity,
workouts, sleep, weight, body-fat percentage, and related fitness metrics.
- AI inputs and outputs, such as meal descriptions, optional meal photos, short
progress summaries, generated plans, and coaching responses.
- Purchase and entitlement information, such as the subscription product,
purchase status, renewal status, and an app-specific customer identifier.
- Technical information needed to operate features, such as app version,
device platform, request status, and service errors. Jeune does not use
third-party advertising trackers.
2. How Information Is Used
Jeune uses information to:
- provide fasting, meal, water, weight, workout, journal, and progress tracking;
- create and update personalized wellness plans;
- calculate local totals, trends, goals, and progress insights;
- provide optional AI-assisted meal estimates, plans, images, and coaching;
- sync and restore data when you enable iCloud Sync;
- process subscriptions, restore purchases, and control Jeune+ access;
- maintain app reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests; and
